About Australian Catholic University
Australian Catholic University (ACU), is a public university located in Australia. It has seven campuses in Australia and also has a campus located in Rome. It had 34,834 students in 2018.
ACU is composed of four faculties that offer bachelor, master and doctoral degrees. Although it is not primarily a research university the University aims to expand its activities in this field.
ACU Australia has eight campuses: Adelaide, Ballarat. Brisbane, Canberra. Melbourne, Sydney (Blacktown. North Sydney. Strathfield). The university established the Rome Centre in collaboration with Catholic University of America in Rome, Italy, in 2015.
ACU initiated a program for research intensification in 2014. The university created seven new research institutes in the initial phase of its five-year strategy. These institutes were aligned to four priority research areas: health, education, theology and philosophy, and the common good.
Global Excellence Scholarships – Eligibility
- All applicants must be accepted and enrolled in the program of their choice.
- All applicants must have completed Year 12 of Australian Schooling or an equivalent qualification, or a bachelor’s degree certificate.

Language requirement:
- The Applicants is required to submit IELTS test scores or attempt the ACU English Test. PTE, TOEFL and CAE are also accepted for the scholarship.
