New MicroSoft Tech on USB Remove Hardware and Eject Media in Windows 10 PC

Almost all technology experts point out that before removing the flash drive from the computer, it should eject it in the windows to avoid damaging the flash memory. Before, you need to make sure you’ve done this many times but Microsoft came up with a new way of doing that, and here comes the new recommendation.

Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media in Windows 10

Microsoft has officially announced that Windows 10 does not need to flash the USB flash before it is unplugged from the system. In fact, Windows 10 has a feature called Quick Removal, which, helps to eject without causing any system problem.

What is a quick removal feature?

Quick Removal is one of the default features of Windows 10, version 1809, which does not allow Windows to continuously attempt to write anything on the flash drive. Thanks to the same functionality, you can unplug the flash memory without any worries. Keep in mind, however, that when you move a file to a flash drive, it does not have to be disconnected from the system, as it even can be harmed by flash in Windows 10.

Of course, Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media feature has not been removed on Windows 10, and Microsoft does not seem to want to delete it at this time.

Quick delete feature is not so new

The ability to quickly remove Windows 10 October 2018 is available to users. So users are likely to be aware of this feature, but Microsoft may have re-enacted this feature, urging more users to install the latest version of Windows 10.
