Date of Upgrade for Samsung Android 9.0 Pie Update

Now that most of the companies are on vacation, Samsung released the Android 9.0 Pie update for Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus handsets as a New Year 2019 Gift.



Samsung, along with an update for these two phones, has released its schedule for updating other phones to Android Pie in the Sumsung Member app, which according to the new timing, some phones earlier than they were set to Android 9.0 Pie will be updated, and some will be back in time. However, some Samsung phone users will have to wait until the next year to get this update.

On the new schedule, Samsung, Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are the first Samsung phones to be upgraded to Android 9.0 in 2019. After the two handsets, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will receive the update in February 2019, while it was previously scheduled to be upgraded to Android 9.0 in January.


In the coming months, the update will go to the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, Note 9, Galaxy A8 2018, Galaxy A8 Plus 2018 and other handsets. The complete list of Samsung schedules for updating its devices to Android 9.0 Pie are as follows:

The issue here is that the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 are not in this new Samsung schedule, which is a sad news for the owners of the phone. It seems that Android Uriou is the latest update to the operating system provided for these Galaxy flagship players.
