This will search for the hidden audio files on your device.

How To Create Ringtones Using Ringdroid App

In order to create ringtone on your android phone using Ringdroid just tap on the audio file of your choice that your need to edit and it will open up immediately on the Ringdroid editor. The audio file selected will be shown as waves with two adjustable sliders on it specifying the start and the end point. The below image shows “play/pause” buttons and also “start/end” time in seconds.

There are multiple ways to specify start and end points to extract the ringtone out of the audio file. You can specify the start and the end points to extract the ringtone from the audio file that is to say that you may the use the start and end sliders to specify exact start and end point of the ringtone. It sometimes better to be playing the audio file in order to track the location of extraction but this is not necessarily as you can specify the location with playing the audio file, it all depends on you.

You can also implement this method also in order to extract and this method involve playing the audio file and while playing tap on “Start” button as soon as the starting point is being played. Also tap on the “End” button when the ending is also being played. This method is somehow time consuming but nevertheless you will surely get the concise start and end points.



You can enter the starting and the ending points manually in “Seconds” by simply tapping on the “Start” and “End” buttons. In order to use this method, you must know the exact start and end points in seconds.

Once the start and end points have been specified, tap on the “Save” button above to save the ringtone. You can now give it a name and set it as default ringtone. Immediately the start and the end points must have been specified just proceed by tapping on “Save” button above the app to save your ringtone. You may decide to give it a name of your choice and may decide to set it as your default ringtone which is left on you to decide.

Using the Ringdroid app you can set up any ringtone as default ringtone, notification tone or even alarm right the app interface. To achieve that simply tap on the on the upside down arrow next to the audio file and proceed to “Set as default”

As android user you can assign ringtone to specified contacts, also Ringdroid as have a similar feature and to use it tap on the upside down arrow next to the ringtone and select “Assign To Contacts” option, then select the contact on your contact list to assign to it.

Record Audio

You can also record any audio and create ringtone with it using Ringdroid. Tap on “Microphone” icon at the top of the Ringdroid app and the recording will start immediately and to also stop recording Tap the “Stop” button. After recording the recorded audio will load automatically on the Ringdroid editor.
